Jazz Ensemble

The Jazz Ensemble is made up of very talented players who’ve shown interest in the jazz side of music. The music ensemble has had opportunities to work on some skills that are more unique to jazz, such as improvising, swinging and playing solos.

It provides an opportunity for extension for students looking to broaden their musical horizons through experimenting with a new genre. This group is comprised of mostly years 5 and 6. Entry into this ensemble is by audition mid-term 1.
